The WoW developers, who are currently working on rebuilding the content of Burning Crusade Classic, have announced that the quests for the Sha'tari Skyguard and in Ogri'la are now in the beta of BCC - but they will be disabled again shortly. At least that's the plan of the WoW makers. Much like Diablo 2 Resurrected's solo player alpha, the Skyguard and Ogri'la quests in Shear Ridge are scheduled to be disabled again on April 12, 2021. As to why this is, the developers don't explain.
For those who don't remember, the Skyguard takes care of air security in Terokkar Forest; you could earn the flying Nether Rays there with some effort back in the day. In a few days that the quests are in the game now, that shouldn't really be possible - so testing the mounts isn't really the point ^^ The ogres in the Shear Ridge, on the other hand, have some interesting items in store if you raise your reputation with them - and some of the coolest quest mechanics. Just remember the Shartuul event, which gave you depleted items that you could upgrade to viable armor items via Apexis Shards.
If you have access to the Burning Crusade Classic beta, we hope you enjoy questing and reporting bugs (via F6 in-game). You can read Community Manager Kaivax's contribution to the forums here.
But the question is: Are you actually in the beta of Burning Crusade Classic? We're interested in your answer because we have a fan of Outland here in the newsroom who would love nothing more than to get into the beta servers, but the Blizzard devs' apparent lottery process has so far prevented him from having any fun. Have you been lucky enough to set foot in the Classic Outlands so far, or have you been left out in the cold as well, even though you'd love to play (especially with such inclement weather outside ^^)?

All readers get free daily news, articles, guides, videos, and podcasts on World of Warcraft, Pokémon Go, and other favorite games from us. Up until now, we've funded this site through advertising and kept it as free of paid articles as possible, but since COVID-19, that's become increasingly difficult. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue offering buffed for free in the future in the form we are used to.
For this reason, we are now turning to you.
