WoW: German Patch Notes of the Hotfixes from 22. July 2021

The developers of Blizzard have once again put together a hotfix pact for WoW (buy now 14,99 € ): Shadowlands. In addition to various bug fixes, there are also some exciting changes. For example, you can now earn glory in Torghast for the first time and take two reins of vengeance from the mythical version of Sylvanas Windrunner. Furthermore, the developers have stopped a dungeon skip in Plaguefall. You will now have to defeat the first three bosses before you can get to Margravine Stradama.

Below you can read the official English patch notes. As soon as Blizzard has published the German patch notes, we will update this message. Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, whereas others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.

WoW Hotfixes July 22, 2021 - Patch Notes

Classes

• Druid
  • The Medium 'Newborn' bonus to primary stats is reduced to 20 at the start of a new encounter.
    • Developer Commentary: Our intent behind this medium is that resurrects have an added bonus in combat. At the same time, we want to avoid situations where players feel compelled to max out such effects before starting a boss fight.
• Priest
  • Shadow
    • The visual ground effect of the Shadow Bullet talent now matches the actual effect area.
    • The visual ground effect of the PvP talent Void Volley now matches the actual effect area and has more clearly defined boundaries.
• Warrior
  • Weapons
    • Fixed a bug where Niya's Soul Band ability, Hurry Patrol, reset the interval between automatic attacks.

Creatures and NPCs

• Players now have a 2 sec grace period in which they can continue to see their target if they are within the area delineated by Soul Chains between Soul Prisons during the encounter with Mor'geth.
• The number of Princes Renathal in Fall of Man has been reduced. Press F to pay your respects.

Dungeons and Raids

• Sanctum of Domination
  • Defeating Sylvanas Windrunner on Mythic difficulty now grants the Reins of Vengeance twice.
  • Remnant of Ner'zhul
    • It is now no longer possible to cause a second orb to stop responding when carrying an Orb of Torment.
• Plaguefall
  • It is now necessary to defeat the first three bosses of the dungeon on all difficulty levels for the door to Margravine Stradama to open.
    • Developer comment: The first two bosses of the dungeon were frequently skipped on the lower difficulty levels, often by groups that wanted to collect fame much faster than they should have. To allow players to collect more Fame, we've added the chance to receive Fame when completing levels in Torghast (see hotfix below).

Items and Rewards

• Teleport repair kits no longer count individually, but now stack up to 50 times.
• Repaired Crack Keys are also now stackable up to 50 times.
  • Developer comment: In early development, Teleport Repair Sets and Repaired Crack Keys were only available from the vendor. As a result of player feedback that it was unclear whether these items were worth purchasing, we decided to allow them to occasionally appear as loot. Now that these items were being dropped by enemies and players no longer had control over them, we should have removed the unique restriction on teleport repair sets at that time. Since you can purchase Teleporter Repair Sets and Repaired Crack Keys from vendors, we are excluding them from mail delivery if you loot them while your inventory is full so they will no longer clog your mailbox.
• Fixed the item levels of media sold by merchants for rated PvP.
• Fixed a bug where the Salvaged Fusion Booster could not be captured by Marksmanship and Beast Mastery hunters.

Quests

• Fixed a bug that caused internal text to be displayed to users of certain name badge addons during the "Nal'ragas" quest.

Torghast, Tower of the Damned

• Glory is now one of the possible rewards for completing a Torghast level, with higher difficulty levels offering better chances at glory.
