When patch 9.1 finally appears on the live servers of WoW Shadowlands, our heroes will have plenty to do. Among other things, they will have to climb 40 new glory levels. This will unlock a whole host of new improvements, such as the improved media sockets. However, the whole thing will take a little longer than previously assumed. Because at least in the first week we will not be able to earn the expected three glory levels. In addition to the two weekly quests (Anima and Collect Souls), it has so far also been possible to unlock one level per week via the Pact campaign.
- Unfortunately, this time the first three chapters of the other campaign will not give you any fame levels.
In practice, this means that we will only be able to reach fame level 42 in the first ID of patch 9.1. If you do all the story quests (and thus the first three chapters of the campaign, which are all directly available), you can then look forward to a level per campaign in the second ID for the first time. This means that the unlocking of some bonuses will be delayed by one week. And flying won't be accessible in the first week either. Because for that you need to complete the fourth chapter of the new story campaign. But that will only be possible in the second week due to the missing fame level. In addition, the requirement has also been slightly altered and raised to fame level 44.
For now, it's unclear why the developers decided to have the first chapters not grant a fame level. Of course, as with everything on the PTR, it's entirely possible that this is a mistake and that the whole thing will be adjusted. We will keep you updated.
