We have confirmation: Blizzard has designed new tutorial quests for characters created via the level 58 boost and implemented them on the beta servers. As part of the quest chain, you'll not only need to bring the packs mentioned in the original announcement to specific NPCs, you'll also be expected to
- open your survival pack and equip a weapon
- Learn a new skill from the class teacher
- Distribute a talent point
- Travel to the Dark Portal in the Desolate Lands.

You probably remember the sphere hunter mount "Viridian Phase-Hunter" that dataminers had found about two weeks ago in the beta installation data of WoW (buy now € 14.99 ): Burning Crusade Classic. The mount did not exist in the TBC era at the time and could - like other items - be part of a new Deluxe Edition.
Now the dataminers of Wowhead report a change concerning the mount. In beta build 2.5.1.38225 the mount now has the name "Reawakened Phase Hunter". So the developers are still working on the mount.
Much more exciting is a second find. Wowhead's dataminers have come across so-called "Sealed Packages" that are apparently supposed to be brought to "Townspeople" in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Thunder Bluff.
Since there were no such packages during the original TBC era, some players are now naturally wondering what the purpose of these packages is. Are they possibly related to the level 58 character boost? Possibly as part of new tutorial quests? What do you think?
