When the Hall of Fame was introduced in WoW, the developers had the naive hope that this would make some of the raiders decide to start for the Alliance rather than the Horde. Because where there is less competition, the chance to get one of the coveted places and thus a special title is naturally higher. Well, anyone who has played WoW in the past weeks, months and years will have noticed that this hope has not been fulfilled. Quite the opposite - the faction imbalance has increased more and more. And of course, this can be seen in the Hall of Fame.
- While the Horde had their site full in 30 days, the Alliance took 63 days.
Thus, the red faction made it in pretty much exactly one month, while the alliance needed more than two months. Surprisingly, the differences are even a little bit lower than in Nathria Castle, but they are much worse than they were in the previous expansions.
So it shows once again that Blizzard really needs to intervene here. One of the often expressed wishes is the abolition of all faction borders in the upcoming expansion - but will that really happen?
But let's look on the bright side. After more than two months of Sanctum of Domination, we'll finally get the chance to visit cross-server mythic raids starting with the upcoming ID (09/22). While this doesn't solve the problem of faction imbalance, it at least helps groups find new teammates more easily.
