Will WoW fans be able to enjoy a new class with the next expansion? The players' hopes are high, and there are already corresponding hints and leaks. Now, the developers have stoked the discussions about a possible expansion of the class portfolio with another teaser.
What is the Necromancer in the MDI trailer all about?
The current trailer for Mythic Dungeon International, WoW's upcoming PvE event, shows an interesting detail. Right at the beginning of the trailer, we see a stylized group of players traveling to Tazavesh in an airship. On board is a human woman, who appears for a few seconds in close-up. What's special about her is that she wears the clothes of a warlock, but her skin color, tattoos and eye color resemble those of a necromancer.

This look is actually only known from non-player characters from the Plaguelands of the Eastern Kingdoms. This look has not been available to player characters so far - there are no corresponding visual adjustments in the character editor. Accordingly, fans are now hoping that the images from the MDI trailer are a teaser for a new class in the next expansion - or at least new customization options for the Warlock itself.
At least the latter would not be completely far-fetched, because a leak about the upcoming expansion also talks about alternative customization options for certain classes. A necromancer skin for the warlock is also mentioned here. However, it's also possible that the creator of the trailer, Youtuber Ivan Kuzkin, simply liked the look of the necromancer and implemented it without much ulterior motives.

Soon we will learn what changes Blizzard is planning for the final raid of WoW: Season of Mastery.However, we will certainly find out whether we will actually be able to enjoy a new class or a skin for the Warlock on April 19, 2022 at the latest, when the developers officially unveil the next expansion.
