WoW is kind of dead at the moment. Korthia has been sucked dry for most players for weeks now, and many of them prefer to hang out in Amazon's New World anyway. Most of them will come back to Azeroth at some point, but that doesn't help the remaining heroes much. And there is no improvement in sight anytime soon. Patch 9.1.5 is still a long time coming, while most players are already desperately longing for patch 9.2. Because 9.1.5 has a problem. It doesn't bring any direct content into the game.
Yes, all the adjustments for twinks and stragglers, as well as the simplifications for everyone are important and good - but for my actual main character it changes very little. The motivation to log in, raid, or run dungeons will continue to be severely limited. Here, a little supply would definitely do good.
PDK Style as Easy Frag
Of course, it's not that easy to just conjure up a new raid or a new dungeon out of thin air. Because there is a lot of development work behind it. But you could also make it easy for yourself. I never thought I'd write these lines outside of satire or irony: I'd really love a crisp, short raid in the style of Trial of the Crusader right now.
One room, no unnecessary trash, and a handful of crunchy bosses packed in. What seemed ridiculous and uncharitably designed back then, in the immediate aftermath of Ulduar, would be a welcome change today. Don't misunderstand: As a complete raid tier, I would still find a PDK raid a cheek. But as an intermediate raid I would currently find it good. Especially since the waiting time is currently higher than usual.
PDK was not particularly popular at the time. Nowadays, the concept would probably be more popular.

Of course, I personally can't judge how elaborate such an intermediate raid would be. In any case, you would save a lot of work by simply using existing areas - for example, the arena where Kyrians complete their event, the Path of Ascension.
The Kyrian Arena could serve well for a small intermediate patch.

Anyway, that wouldn't be a bad theme. Just put in a few of the most powerful pact members, which also saves on creating new models, and package it story-wise as a preparatory training camp for the big assault on the dungeon master. Yes, it's not very creative, but it's better than waiting another six months for the next content.
How about you guys? Do you already crave for new endgame content in WoW (buy now 14,99 € ), or are you well supplied and like to wait some more time for new content?
P.S.: The statement "I don't care, I'm playing New World anyway" doesn't count as an answer. :-)
