Last night there was not only an update for the Shadowlands test server, which was finally expanded with many contents of WoW patch 9.1. Updates were also provided for the WoW Classic public test server and the TBC Classic beta server. In the associated data, Wowhead's dataminers found, among other things, designations and queries associated with new achievements for WoW Classic and even Burning Crusade.
So there are now entries in the achievements category of the PTR that refer to mounts, dungeons & raids or PvP, for example. In turn, new stat queries count how many times we've defeated bosses like Kel'Thuzad. In addition, a system has been discovered that allows Blizzard to retroactively query data relevant to the new achievements, similar to the system used in WotLK after the introduction of the achievements to retroactively distribute some of the achievements based on items in the bank/inventory or quests completed.
You can check out all the entries found on Wowhead. Now, of course, some players are speculating what this is all about. Do we see the next Classic Plus feature for the era servers after the Chronoboon Displacer, which will allow you to save world buffs in the future? But then why are there isolated entries linked to Burning Crusade? It seems very unrealistic that Blizzard will already bring the achievements feature from WotLK to the progressive realms with Burning Crusade. Or is it? It could also be that the achievements are meant for retail WoW. Say: We unlock via WoW (buy now 14,99 € ) Classic and TBC Classic account-wide achievements and can then use them in WoW: Shadowlands.
